Received some exciting news: One of my photos has been chosen for an exhibition!
AHEAD – a glimpse of Singapore’s future is the full title of the exhibition, and it’s part of the Singapore International Photography Festival (SIPF). The exhibition is being curated by Women in Street SG, a group aiming to build a local community of female street photographers.
It’s my first exhibition feature, so I’m pretty pleased. Very grateful to Women in Street SG for the opportunity.
The photo featured, as it happens, was taken during a photowalk organised by WiS SG. Apart from providing an impetus to get my lazy butt out the door to take some shots, the photowalk was a lovely opportunity to meet other women who enjoyed street photography, marvel at the different artistic styles and get incredibly valuable advice.
